Debbie Gendler is the author of a Beatles book called “I Saw Them Standing There”. Debbie was a Superfan who, at age 13, met Brian Epstein, their manager, met the Beatles, became the President of a Beatles Fan Club, received a ticket to see them play live for the first time in the U.S. on the Ed Sullivan Show, saw them perform at Shea Stadium, and was even asked to help promote the opening of “A Hard Day’s Night”. She went on to have a career in broadcasting with CBS. She’s a 4x Emmy nominated content creator and producer. She helped to launch HGTV and The National Geographic Channel.
