Jim Fielder was the bassist and an original member of Blood Sweat & Tears, one of the seminal bands of the rock era which introduced a horn section to the traditional rock lineup. Before that he was with Tim Buckley, Buffalo Springfield and Frank Zappa’s Mothers Of Invention. He talks about all these groups and the great musicians involved including Stephen Stills, Al Kooper and David Clayton-Thomas.
