“We Are The World” was a 1985 Mega-Hit song that featured a Who’s Who of Pop Music stars including Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Ray Charles, Bob Dylan, Diana Ross, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and many more. The song raised $80 million ($240 million in today’s dollars) to fight African Famine Relief. A documentary on Netflix called “The Greatest Night In Pop” chronicles the story.
