What Tribute Bands Taught Me About Being Authentic

There are many so-called Tribute bands touring these days. They impersonate many different artists from The Beatles to the Eagles to Queen. They look and sound just like the originals. Indeed, they are excellent facsimiles of the originals. 

But make no mistake, they're not the real deal.

An important question that everyone must ask themselves is “how do I want to live my life?" 

Do I want to be a copy of someone else, or do I want to be original and authentic?

For me there was only one answer when I asked myself this important question. I had to be me, not someone else. 

No matter what I do, my goal is to put forward the authentic me, not a copy or impersonation of someone else. 

So I ask again - how do you want to live your life?
